Your First Steps Toward Automation Are Closer Than What You Think

Why Should I Consider a SNEED-PACK Case Sealer?

Is keeping up with packaging demands getting out of hand? While experiencing growth is great, we understand just how stressful it can be if you’re not prepared for the additional strain on your existing workflow. Believe it or not, your workflow is meant to change and adapt to better suit your manufacturing, processing, marking, and packaging needs; remember these are industries that are constantly changing, so being able to keep up is crucial.

Luckily for you, we’re expanding into packaging equipment and we’ll be starting off with five semi-automatic case sealers, which are now in stock. While our newest venture into packaging equipment might not be fully automatic just yet, it is a great step to take if your business is in the first stages of streamlining packaging processes. If you’re tired of your packages

  • Lacking uniformity due to uneven tape strips or double taping
  • Containing too much tape, which leads to material waste
  • Being damaged or missing contents because they weren’t sealed properly
  • Not being sealed at an efficient-consistent rate

Then it's about time to consider updating your setup. Not only does having a case sealer help aesthetically and monetarily, but it also helps reduce the risk of employee injuries. According to The Berkshire Independent Hospital,

  • “Manufacturing industry workers, whose job typically demands long hours of hand and wrist use, have seen the greatest impact from damage caused by carpal tunnel syndrome.”

Why wouldn’t you want to reduce that repetitive straining motion that your workers are enduring day in and day out? Our semi-automatic case sealers take out the majority of manual labor needed to properly seal your packages, which means your employees would no longer have to deal with that.

Everything You Need to Know About Our 5 Case Sealers

We’ve mentioned it before and we’ll do so again, currently our five case sealers are only semi-automatic, but no worries we’re expanding fast, so sooner than later we’ll get there. In addition, there’s only two tasks that need to be performed manually for this equipment to run.

  • An individual needs to make adjustments for the boxes’ height and width
  • The minor and major flaps need to be folded down before the box is fed through

Now while all of our case sealers require the same amount of manual labor, their capabilities are slightly different, so it’s important to choose the one that works best for you.

  1. Semi-Automatic Case/Carton Sealer With a Side Belt
    1. Can seal up to 40 cases per minute or every 60 feet
    2. What a person can do in 30 mins, this machine can do in 5, so it’s about 6x faster
    3. You can either select a 2 in or 3 in tape head
      1. Minimum box size, for a 2 in. tape head is, 4.3in Height x 5.9in Width
      2. Minimum box size, for a 3 in. tape head is, 4.7in Height x 5.9 in Width
      3. Minimum length for either tape head is 5.9in
      4. Maximum box size, for either tape head is, 20in x 20in
    4. The sealer can handle up to 44 lbs, but ideally it’s great for boxes weighing less than 33 lbs.
    5. The case sealer itself is 72in Length x 34in Width x 54in Height
  1. Semi-Automatic Case/Carton Sealer With Top and Bottom Belts
    1. Your package is sealed up with the help of 2 motors and 4 belts
    2. You can select between 2in or 3in tape heads
      1. Minimum box size, for a 2in. tape head is 5.9in height x 7in width
      2. Minimum box size, for a 3in tape head is 5.9in height by 7.9in width
      3. Minimum length for either tape head is 5.9in
      4. Maximum box size, for either tape head is 20in x 23.6in
    3. This sealer can handle up to 44 lbs.
    4. ROI in less than a year if you’re sealing more than 250 cases a day
    5. The case sealer itself is 66in Length x 33in Width x 57in Height
  1. Semi-Automatic Case/Carton Sealer With Top and Side Belts
    1. This case sealer is ideal for packages weighing between 33 lbs to 44 lbs
      1. It has three motors which is better for heavier boxes
    2. You can select between 2in or 3in tape heads
      1. Minimum box size for both: 5.9in height x 7in width
      2. Minimum length for both is 5.9in
      3. Maximum box size for either tape head is 20in x 20in
    3. The case sealer itself is 72in Length x 34in Width x 54in Height
  1. Semi-Automatic Case/Carton Sealer For Small Boxes
    1. This case sealer, as the name implies, is ideal for smaller packages
    2. You can seal up to 50 cases per minute or every 68 feet
    3. The only tape head available is a 2in (width)
      1. Minimum box size: 5.1in Length x 3.15in Width x 3.5in Height
      2. Maximum box size: 11.8in Width x 15.7in Height
    4. The sealer can only handle up to 11lbs
    5. The case sealer itself is 59in Length x 23.6in Width x 34.25in Height
  1. Semi-Automatic Case/Carton Sealer For Extra Small Box
    1. Once again, as the name implies, this case sealer is ideal for smaller packages
    2. The only tape head available is a 2in (width)
      1. Minimum box size: 5.1in Length x 3.15in Width x 1.8in Height
      2. Maximum box size: 15.7in Width x 15.7in Height
    3. The sealer itself can only handle packages weighing in at 11 lbs or less.
    4. The case sealer itself is 70in Length x 29in Width x 34.25in Height
