Expanded distribution comes with traceability requirements for Cbd manufacturer

We are working more and more with CBD and cannabis products manufacturers all over the country as this industry continues unparalleled growth. Many of the business we speak to in this industry are starting to face similar traceability requirements and regulations that the food and beverage industry has been tackling for decades.

In most instances, the companies in this space that reach out to us are upstarts that do not yet have fully automated production in their facilities yet - many of them outsource their filling and packaging. This was the case with Ty Burgess, founder of OneCBD, who recently purchased our SNEED-JET® Titan T6 Portable Handheld Inkjet Printer

Ty started his business with a "vision of bringing hope to people around the world struggling with health issues." OneCBD develops natural and proven CBD based alternatives to traditional pharmaceutical solutions for folks that are tired of their laundry list of prescriptions necessary to lead a normal life.

Much like many of our customers, his passion is for helping customers not printing date codes on packaging. However, as his company grows and helps more people, this expanded distribution comes with increased compliance requirements for date and lot coding on his products before they ship out.

At the time, Ty did not have full scale production as many of the products are filled and packaged by a co-packer. Once they get the products in and before they ship out to customers, they need to be inkjet coded with pertinent traceability information for consumer safety. That's where our SNEED-JET® Titan T6 Portable Handheld Inkjet Printer comes in - Ty found it while searching online for a simple and affordable solution that would meet their needs.

Many of his company's products are packaged in amber Boston round bottles and as such he also needed to find a printer that could print a bright and visible code on these bottles. Our Meenjet printers can utilize both white and yellow inks for these types of packages.

After purchasing the printer and trying it out during our 30 day performance guarantee, Ty informed us the printer was the perfect fit for OneCBD's coding needs and may even need something more automated "...as we plan to be moving more volume and will be packing more of our own products."
