SNEED-PACK Adding Pallet Stretch Wrappers in 2023

Our Pallet Wrappers Will be Available Later This Year

We intend to keep every part of packaging simple and in order to do that we need to make sure that from the time boxes are formed to the point they’re being prepped for distribution, we’re doing just that. Our first venture into packaging equipment started with our case sealers, then we added our case erectors, which are now available to preorder, and later in 2023 we’ll be adding our pallet wrappers.

What is Stretch Wrap and What are Pallet Wrappers?

Before products are loaded onto their respective transporters, boxes are stacked onto pallets and wrapped with film to ensure that they’re secure; that film is known as stretch wrap and it can either be applied manually or with the help of packaging equipment. According to the U.S. Packaging & Wrapping LLC,

- “Stretch wrap is a highly stretchable plastic film… it’s used to wrap products on pallets and secure them to each other and the pallet. It helps reduce product loss, discourage load tampering, and reduce worker injury.”

If you’re running around a pallet with stretch wrap, every time you have a shipment going out, then chances are you’ve had to deal with the headache of inconsistent wrapping, damaged products, or even incomplete orders. According to ROBOPAC USA,

“A stretch wrapper machine is a piece of equipment that automatically wraps pallets with stretch wrap…The main purpose of stretch wrapping is to make products easier to transport in bulk and protect individual products from damage during shipping.”

A stretch wrapper machine is meant to facilitate the last portion of the packaging process; like we mentioned earlier, the last thing you need to be hearing about are incomplete or damaged shipments.

Benefits of Adding a SNEED-PACK Pallet Stretch Wrapper

What else is our SNEED-PACK semi-automatic pallet wrapper going to be capable of? Why is it that you should consider adding one to your packaging workflow?

-Pallet wrappers pre stretch the film, which allows you to reduce the amount of film used by 40%
-Semi-automatic and automatic pallet wrappers free up your workforce
-After a pallet is finished being wrapped, the film is automatically cut
-There’s a multi-layer function that allows you to set different wrapping forces and heights
-If something goes wrong, an alarm will go off and the touch screen will display the solution
-Wrapping protects your cargo from dust, moisture, and damage

While it’ll still be a couple of months before our SNEED-PACK stretch wrappers are officially available, we figured that now would be a good time to give you something to look forward to next year. In addition, if you want to add a pallet wrapper to your packaging process, you have plenty of time to plan accordingly for it.
