We’re Happy to Have Matthew on Board, So Here’s Some Things to Know About Our Newest Teammate

Impeccable customer service is a big part of what we’re known for here at Sneed Coding Solutions, but it wouldn’t be possible without all of our technical service team members. Everyone of the members on our tech team prioritize calls and video meetings to ensure that our customers can not only set their equipment up in a timely manner, but also to clear up any uncertainties that they may have. With Sneed and its departments growing, we figured that it was time to bring another team member on board.

We’re happy to welcome Matthew to the Sneed team and what better way to get to know the newest addition to our team, then to let him tell us a little bit about himself.

How did Matthew Hear About Sneed Coding Solutions?

We all know that the job market is a little rocky right now, but that doesn’t mean that there aren’t great opportunities out there. Just like many young professionals out there, Matthew started his job search on Indeed, which happens to be one of the largest employment websites here in the United States. Matthew goes on to say,

“I was searching for positions that were relevant to my field, which happens to be in electrical repair and that’s when I came across Sneed’s listing.”

We all know that gut wrenching feeling that comes along with waiting for a potential employer to respond to your job application; luckily for Matthew, Charles, VP of Technical Services, and his team had decided that he would be a great fit for the job.

Has Matthew Always Worked Within Technical Services?

It’s always interesting to see where individuals got their start; for many of us we started in completely different roles than what we were aiming for or where we are now. Matthew goes on to tell us that,

“I didn’t always work in technical support, but for the most part I have worked within customer services and sales. Luckily, the last four years I’ve been able to focus on electrical tech and repair work.”

“Originally, I had been working for a friend at a comic book store and one of our regulars was working as head of safety when he offered me a job as an electrical technician. One of the great aspects about that job was that they paid for all of my electrical repair and tech certifications.”

So, from working at a comic book store, to repairing electrical systems, to now joining the technical service department, it's safe to say that Matthew has had quite the journey. It’s incredible to see how quickly one grows when they’re doing what interests them.

What is the Goal Moving Forwards?

Of course the journey doesn’t stop there, on the contrary, this is just the beginning. The great thing about working here at Sneed Coding Solutions is that you’ll always be kept on your toes because there’s so much to learn and so much room for growth. According to Matthew,

“In the future, I want to move into more of a repair role, as opposed to mainly focusing on technical support.”

We can’t wait to see how far Matthew goes; we’re sure that with his interest and experience in electrical repair, he’s bound to not only make a great addition to the team, but also get very far.
