Your First Steps Toward Automation Are Closer Than What You Think
Why Should I Consider a SNEED-PACK Case Sealer?
Is keeping up with packaging demands getting out of hand? While experiencing growth is great, we understand just how stressful it can be if you’re not prepared for the additional strain on your existing workflow. Believe it or not, your workflow is meant to change and adapt to better suit your manufacturing, processing, marking, and packaging needs; remember these are industries that are constantly changing, so being able to keep up is crucial.
Luckily for you, we’re expanding into packaging equipment and we’ll be starting off with five semi-automatic case sealers, which are now in stock. While our newest venture into packaging equipment might not be fully automatic just yet, it is a great step to take if your business is in the first stages of streamlining packaging processes. If you’re tired of your packages
- Lacking uniformity due to uneven tape strips or double taping
- Containing too much tape, which leads to material waste
- Being damaged or missing contents because they weren’t sealed properly
- Not being sealed at an efficient-consistent rate
Then it's about time to consider updating your setup. Not only does having a case sealer help aesthetically and monetarily, but it also helps reduce the risk of employee injuries. According to The Berkshire Independent Hospital,
- “Manufacturing industry workers, whose job typically demands long hours of hand and wrist use, have seen the greatest impact from damage caused by carpal tunnel syndrome.”
Why wouldn’t you want to reduce that repetitive straining motion that your workers are enduring day in and day out? Our semi-automatic case sealers take out the majority of manual labor needed to properly seal your packages, which means your employees would no longer have to deal with that.
Everything You Need to Know About Our 5 Case Sealers
We’ve mentioned it before and we’ll do so again, currently our five case sealers are only semi-automatic, but no worries we’re expanding fast, so sooner than later we’ll get there. In addition, there’s only two tasks that need to be performed manually for this equipment to run.
- An individual needs to make adjustments for the boxes’ height and width
- The minor and major flaps need to be folded down before the box is fed through
Now while all of our case sealers require the same amount of manual labor, their capabilities are slightly different, so it’s important to choose the one that works best for you.
