Partners Dan Gerrity, David Brumbaugh and Mark Bartosh, in an effort to continue adding value for their customers, wanted to incorporate lot coding with their kitting services. Lot coding would strengthen the order fulfillment services they provide customers as an added element of quality assurance.
They discovered the SNEED-JET printers and spoke with our team about their production equipment and installation requirements. They submitted videos of their production equipment for us to review allowing us to quickly identify similar customer installation videos to share with them.
The SNEED-JET Titan printer was best suited for their automated production lines with an encoder wheel added to measure print speed and adjust for intermittent pauses in production. They also acquired the SNEED-JET Titan T6 Handheld printer for on demand lot coding and product identification needs that can come up in the warehouse.
DYAD purchased two SNEED-JET Titan printers for their production lines which the production team was able to set up and install the in just over one hour. The inkjet coders are used to print lot codes on 10-20,000 custom kits daily. The production team reports that it performs as promised - easy to update and change lot codes as needed for product changeovers.
