Achievement Unlocked: Acquire 100 Google Reviews

Find me on:

We Were Just Warming Up Last Year, This Year We’ll do Even Better

What Was the Initial Goal?

What started off as a friendly competition to see who could get the most 5-star Google reviews, ended up as a race, to the finish, to see if we could earn 100 reviews by the end of the year. However, before we jump into how we amassed over 100 Google reviews, let’s see which one of our Sneed members got the most 5-star reviews.

The winner of the challenge ended up being Santos Maltez, our National Account Manager for the West, who received 9 perfect reviews; in second place we had Ken Mogensen, our Vice President of Sales and Marketing, with 4 perfect reviews, and in third place we actually had a tie, so Daniel Mogensen, our sales, marketing, and tradeshow coordinator, and Richard Turner, our Product Development Specialist, ended up receiving 3 perfect reviews.

What’s life at the office without a little friendly competition from time to time; plus with gift cards on the line, who wouldn’t want to give it a go? Now for the real question, did we reach our goal of 100 reviews? We not only achieved our goal, but we surpassed it by a handful of reviews and it was all thanks to our team here at Sneed; however, our 100th review was earned by none other than Santos.

Honorable Mentions

While Santos earned our 100th review, there were a couple of other reviews that we wanted to highlight as well:

  • “Solid equipment, it was very helpful for high volume lot and expiration coding projects. Richard Turner is a LIFE SAVER! He has personally walked me through 2 setups now that ended up allowing us to complete both projects on time. Thank you, Richard.”

  • “Excellent customer service! I appreciate the prompt and clear response to our queries by the sales team, especially Ken Mogensen who helped process our online order with amazing speed.”

  • “ I received high quality customer service from Tyler Martin at Sneed Coding; he was extremely helpful and took care of the situation immediately and to my great satisfaction.”

  • “Customer service is remarkable for this day and age; we called in regards to a failed part and Tom, the sales rep, walked me through what we needed, sent us a quote, and got the part out of the door.”

  • “Daniel Mogensen was great to work with and was very helpful in making our experience with the machine amazing! Wish I would have gotten one sooner! Every part of the purchasing process was painless!”

How Close of a Call Was it?

Believe it or not, at each one of our team meetings on Friday, we would anxiously await to hear how many reviews we had received throughout the week and for those of us that couldn’t wait, we would keep an eye on the count. On December 6, 2022 we finally received the news that we had reached our goal of 100 reviews and as a result, Bryan Sneed, our CEO awarded each Sneed member with either $100 or a day of PTO.

The countdown was over, our 100 Google review goal had been met and we still had 3-weeks to spare; none of which would have been possible without each and everyone of our Sneed members. Like Steve Jobs used to say, “great things in business are never done by one person, they are done by a team of people.” Even though we already reached 100 reviews, this was just the beginning; we’re sure that we’re going to do even better in 2023.
