Companies Just Like Yours Are Putting SNEED-JET® Infinity Coder to the Test; Come See it at Pack Expo for FREE!
Coding is supposed to complement your packaging, not get in the way and yet it would seem that everyone has this preconceived notion that it’s the most expensive, overcomplicated process in existence. Here at Sneed Coding Solutions we’re working to change all of that; we truly believe that the best thing we can do for our consumers is to #KeepCodingSimple and be as transparent as possible.
There’s no one-size-fits all solution, setup, production line, etc., as you can tell from the videos, each company implements the SNEED-JET® Infinity inkjet coder, into their existing production lines, a little bit differently. Imagine being able to help an endless number of industries, print on a variety of substrates, with just one piece of technology; that’s the beauty of the SNEED-JET® Infinity series, the printing possibilities seem infinite.
Bootylicious Muffin Date Codes Muffin Cups with SNEED-JET® Infinity
If you’ve gotten the chance to look at Bootylicious Muffin’s use of the SNEED-JET® Infinity coder, then you would have noticed that their inkjet coding process is very straightforward. The product will simply move along the conveyor, get spotted by the external product detector and instantly have date codes & lot codes printed on it as it passes under the printhead; very similar to The Naked River Brewing Company’s process, except there’s no twist-rinse cage.
However simple or complex your date coding process might be, the prints produced by a SNEED-JET® Infinity inkjet coder will always be clean, crisp, and legible. In addition, the extended throw distance makes it easier to print on all types of surfaces, regardless of whether or not they’re flat, concave, or anything in between.
Naked River Brewing’s SNEED-JET® Infinity Can Coder Installation
It’s always interesting to see how companies integrate their new SNEED-JET® inkjet coders; The Naked River Brewing Company added their SNEED-JET® Infinity coder onto their twist rinse cage. According to SKA Fabricating, “the twist rinse cages invert the cans as they come off the conveyor from the depalletizer; water is then used to rinse particles out of the cans prior to re-inverting before filling.”
In the video, you’ll notice how before the cans are turned right side up again, they pass by the external product detector, which will send the SNEED-JET® Infinity date coder a signal to start printing. Thanks to that extended throw distance of the Infinity SI-x30 ink cartridge, inkjet coding the can’s concave bottom is no issue.
SNEED-JET® Infinity Inkjet Coding Sliced Break Packaging
What’s different about this use of the SNEED-JET® Infinity date coder? Well, while the date coding process might be as simple as that of Bootylicious Muffins, the packaging is certainly not. This is a great instance of how the Infinity’s versatility comes in handy because it’s not just limited to printing on typical surfaces like metal, plastic, glass, boxes, etc., it can also print on flexible packaging.
According to Perfect Packaging, “flexible packaging is any package or part of a package whose shapes can readily be changed when filled or during use… it’s typically produced from paper, plastic, film, aluminum foil, etc.”
