Expanded distribution comes with traceability requirements for Cbd manufacturer

We are working more and more with CBD and cannabis products manufacturers all over the country as this industry continues unparalleled growth. Many of the business we speak to in this industry are starting to face similar traceability requirements and regulations that the food and beverage industry has been tackling for decades. 

These are my favorite stories to share - I couldn't be prouder of how our team came together to help this customer.

We initially started working with Panola Pepper - a family owned hot sauce manufacturer based in Providence, Louisiana - earlier this summer as they were interested in our SNEED-JET® Titan T6 Handheld printer for date coding their retail cases. Upon speaking with our experts, they decided to order an initial unit with our 30 day performance guarantee. Unfortunately, this first purchase did not work out for their process as it was a struggle to ensure a consistent print location when manually sliding the printer across the package.

Adhesion issues resolved with Meenjet JS12 Black

Paul Masterson, owner of Masterson's Catering in Kentucky, reached out to us this summer as he was struggling with his existing inkjet date coding printer's ink not drying on his product. The printer would print just fine, but the ink was smearing or smudging after print as it was not drying fast enough for Paul's production process.

We are receiving more and more colored ink printer inquiries, specifically for white or yellow colored inks. Customers have long needed to code on dark surfaces, from amber beer bottles to black PVC pipe. As covered in an earlier blog post, until recently manufacturers didn't have many options other than a pigmented continuous inkjet system. 

Big Mike called us earlier this year looking to upgrade his company's part marking process. Big Mike's Sto N Sho, also known as Mike McKinney, produces a wide variety of custom license plate brackets . His products are sold all over the country through wholesalers and auto parts retailers.

Last month, we were contacted by Mosie Abadi, Vice President at Georgette Klinger Skin Care, who needed to start coding on the bottom of his PET bottles. He was eager to implement a thermal inkjet printing solution due to the affordability and ease of use.

This is without question, one of my favorite customer success stories since returning to the industry – quite possibly in my entire career.

Tired of continuous inkjet, brewer tries Meenjet MX1

Last fall we were approached by Rick Lovett, owner of Indian Wells Brewing in sunny California. He was seeking alternatives coding options to replace his continuous inkjet printers. He had been struggling for years with these continuous inkjet printers to print date codes on his glass bottles. Throughout the past decade, he has tried many different brands and OEMs of continuous inkjet printers but all of them had the same service and maintenance headaches. Simply put, they did not provide him the reliability he was looking for.
